I have had no luck connecting two external monitors AND using the laptop monitor as well. I have the AMD card and am using an e-port plus replicator. Have tried two DVI connections and also tried two display port to dvi connections with no luck. I can get two out of the three to display but not all three. Anybody have any suggestions?

So received it - before I even get to the laptop got a question.

In the box I got the laptop, adapter, and like 3CD+manual. I was just wondering if anything significant is missing? The reason I ask is because there were a few sections in the boxing that looked like it were for pieces to go in, but were empty.

You didn't get the nifty neoprene sleeve, dell branded USB3.0 flash drive, wireless mouse, and t-shirt?

Just kidding, that's all I had in mine, too, despite the extra space.

Same here regarding the contents with my M6600 that arrived today.

Question... I replaced my stock hard drive with two Crucial C300 SSD 256GB drives. Is there anything special I need to do aside from installing them? I'm new to the SSD scene...while fast, I'm getting numerous read and write errors so far this evening.

If you have the Intel Storage Controller Driver installed then there is a tweak needed due to the C300 not support some power technology, I had the problem on the Lenovo W520 and it was addressed in that thread.

On the Dell I just didn't install the Intel storage driver, but there are like 3 reg tweaks to prevent the problem with it.

I don't have 20 minutes to hunt down the thread on this site.

    Hi...

perhaps this is what tom is referring to:

Solution: C300 Disk Freeze-ups in Windows 7 solved... - Crucial Community

Although they're referring to the P67 chipset, not QM67 which is what I believe is in the M6600.

Interesting, since my M6600 arrives in two days and I'm dropping in a Crucial 256GB M4.

Very nice so far - I like the screen a lot. Seems to pick up a little dust (as my previous Studio XPS), but my U2410 for some reason picks up 0.

Forgot what a pain setting up a new PC was... antivirus, encryption, the 101 programs, gah! May use Windows Easy Transfer later on I guess.
