    @Valm:
    It's difficult to judge because I don't have the non-IPS wide-viewing angle screen to compare to the IPS display.
    But judging by the 15,3" IPS panel I have in the M4600 the viewing angles are lovely and really make up for it... and the brightness/contrast isn't retina-burning high...

    good luck HP is not the best when it comes to warranty support and also note the screens are not manufactured by DELL or HP that also applies to 90% of the components on the laptop ;)

    @Valm en lo personal yo pienso que la pantalla IPS es mejor para leer y trabajar por largos periodos de tiempo pero eso no descarta que en este caso la IPS que sera implementada en la M6600 sea de baja calidad y bajo brillo no tengo la menor duda que los colores y los angulos de vista sean mejor en la IPS pero recuerda que si tu pantalla no es lo suficientemente brillante para contrastar el entorno tus ojos pagaran el precio por lo tanto te recomiendo esperar un detallado examen de rendimiento de algun usuario que adquiera dicha pantalla antes que nosotros ;)

    @Valm personaly I think the IPS is better for work and reading for long periods of time but that doesn't mean in this case DELL uses the best quality screen it could be a low quality screen with low brightness there is no doubt that the IPS screen has better viewing angles and color reproduction but remember if the brightness don't contrast with the environment light your eyes are going to pay the price that's why I recommend you to wait for a detailed review from a user before we can decide how good or bad is

    Can someone tell me where to get the driver for the webcam?
    Does this system come with Dell Webcam Central? If so what version?
    Can someone give me the part number for the driver/apps install disc?

    Thanks,

    Jon

    Hi everyone,

    I dont know, but my post might be a bit off topic. But I have to post it because I need your help/advice.

    I have my M6600 now for over 2 months and it has been a decent machine so far.
    Though I have some issues:

    - Programs that I have installed on my SSD run sometimes very slow. For example my MS Outlook has some very long lags and hangs it self up very often.

    - Also big issues with Firefox. If I have opened more than 5 tabs it hangs itself very often too.

    I have 16GB of Ram, so I dont know why theese problems pop up all the time..

    Any advice what I should do?

    Thank you very much.
