    No, that is not the same.

    LP173WD1 = 1600x1900 60Hz 60% CG
    LP173WF1 = 1080x1920 60Hz 60% CG
    LP173WF2 = 1080x1920 60/120Hz 72% CG

    Your panel is still better than the CMO and may just need to be calibrated.

    According to this PDF the LP173WF1 (which I also have) has a 72% color gamut.

    Is that incorrect?

    I would trust the PDF although I remember people saying it was 60% in their testing. Regardless, it is a decent panel. However, does it belong in a M6600 or Studio 1747? I tend to think the consumer grade Studio 1747 is more appropriate.

    I just fail to understand Dell's display panel choices for a premium workstation like the M6600. It is like putting an older Honda in-line 3-cylinder in a BMW M5 and expecting no one to notice.:eek: It is just wrong on so many levels.... and it is disrespectful to the hardware and the user working with it.

    I recieved my M6600 a week ago and the expresscard slot is not working.

    The Dell hotline cant help and tried a mainboard and expresscard reader replace.
    That didnt help :(

    Is a driver needed for the express card slot?
    The person from the service hotline said the chipset driver would be enough.

    (I have the Chi Mei display too )
