And yet my fastest system subsystem is the 1600MHz RAM:

Excellent processing numbers:cool:, but the WEI is not a reliable memory benchmark since it blindly takes into account the processor and the amount of memory installed; not so much the truly independant performace of the various hardware. I would say some of that memory score is the 2920XM helping out. Regadless, if you are happy with it, that is all that matters. I have 1600MHz in my M6600, but I received a good deal on it. Otherwise, I will would be running some snappy 1333MHz.

    Another thought:
Why are your video scores only 7.0? I can pull a stable 7.2 with a stock 3000M so I would expect your's to be 7.3 or 7.4.

I also was wondering the same, and I guess it was only checking my integrated Intel graphics (Optimus enabled, no monitor using the Quadro at the time of benchmark).

Yes I'm happy with performance, but frankly would prefer more than 16GB of RAM which I cannot have now...

So is there any other way to update the drivers without having to install drivers you don't need?

Im having trouble reinstalling using the Factory option.

Have used F8, repair your computer and pressed the factory restore option. However nothing happens..... If i press the system restore option or dos command - it works fine.

    Any clue?

If you have burnt DVD with the system image (which we're prompted to do at each boot-up), you will no longer be able to revert to the factory system settings using the F8 method... Silly, but true.

Once used for backup, the system image partition is just using your C: drive space :-(

If I understand you correctly, no I haven't burned anything yet...

Having said that, is there any other way except for a full clean install?

Well, if you haven't used Dell Backup and Recovery Manager for backing-up the original system image, than I really don't know what the reason of your problem is, dude :(

Tried to use it, of the two options I could only use the other one - on the right (not Factory Image)
