It is, we buy 20-30 systems a year from the outlet and we have yet to have one that needed replacing.

yeah, hopefully the system will come like most peoples flawless ones. Hopefully i wont even find one scratch or a dent. and wonder why it's a scratch and dent item.... knock on wood.

ps. ok, so if i have the three year warranty. and the dell decides to crap out on me. like system failure. motherboard issues. does dell fix it. or replace it? or give me a replacement? and if worst comes to worst the system is not fixable and needs to be replaced? they wont give me a fresh new one right? cause my dell is a scratch and dent item? or will they still go ahead and replace it with a new item. anyone with this kind of experience.?

They almost never exchange a new one for a failure regardless of whether you got it at the Outlet or not.

You will get a refurb unless there is some extenuating circumstance that forces them to give you a brand new unit.

i wouldn't be happy if they gave me a replacement that isn't on par. or equal to the specs of my laptop. It woudnl't be cool at all to get something of lesser value. So i would be a little sketched if they had to replace a laptop with different specs just cause you didnt' buy a new laptop.
