Is that also a FHD 1920x1080 display? If so then we have three different FHD displays in the M4800 that Dell mounts:

    LG LP156WFC
    AU Optronics B156HW02
    Chimei Innolux N156HGE

    Hi,

please let me know which one is the better choice. The first 2 has the same price the 3rd is cheaper around $180

Are there any significant size and weight differences between the M4700 & the M4800?

I might be getting one of these machines in the future, are there any issues with it? I'm currently staying away from the M3800 due to that coil whine issue and things like the keyboard leaving marks on the screen.

There's no Optimus support for the high res screen, which is annoying. I've seen some BSODs, maybe once a week. Everything else about it is great.

Ok, I have read a good portion of this thread and the m3800 thread, trying to decide which to get. To summarize what I am gathering from my screen choices, the FHD screen on the m4800 blows so bad that people are replacing them with 3rd party screens, and the QHD doesn't work with optimus, and has scaling issues all over the place. Then with the m3800, you have the QHD scaling issues, and the thing takes like 2 months to get, and a glossy screen, which I hate. And the FHD is suppose to be a TN crap screen. So where does that leave me, with one bad option after the next, each worse than the next? Is it really this bleak? Does everything suck? Is this just an issue for the screen version of audiophiles (whatever they'd be called, monitorphiles?), or is everyone in agreement? It is very disheartening reading these threads. On the one hand, I hope that people go to these to vent and it's really not as sad as it sounds, but on the other it's Dell, so I have no reason not to think it's this scary in mobile workstation land. I am doing AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and Lightroom mostly. What's the real deal?

I don't find the scaling issues that bad. I love the qhd+ screen. Photoshop is also likely to get fixed next by adobe, since illustrator just got taken care of.
