I started off writing some about fitting a OEM adapter in it but Dell actually have an article about this matter.
The 17265 seems to wide so I dunno if that is going to work even with the daughter board adding to the size
    https://www.dell.com/support/articl...s-dock?lang=en#Unique-Hyphenated-Issue-Here-1

"NOTE: The DW 1601 requires a WiGig wireless antenna not found in systems that did not ship with the DW1601 card. Adding a DW 1601 to a system that did not ship with the card would require the replacement of the LCD back cover / wireless antenna assembly with a WiGig compatible antenna and removal of any other Bluetooth card (DW 380 for example)."

In the article they mention the M6800 and I found that there are original parts for the M6800

    DW1601
    https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Dell_Wireless_1601_WiGig_(DW1601)
    https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=17462

And there is a back panel that has the wigig antenna from factory, otherwise you find out the part number for the antennas

    https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=16859

Either get a hold of one of those or buy two of these adapters and connect them to your existing antennas
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/181804089959

And this is the wigig antenna and should be placed where the bluetooth card is
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Wire...41R-for-17265-18260-18265-W13100/264133641245

And then follow the steps in the article Dell has provided

    Hi everyone!

Thanks for the info. So the short is "not really", and the long is "yes, but with a bit of work". The work doesn't bother me, although looking at the DW1601, it should fit into my existing WiFi slot or in the empty slot in the back without an adapter.

I just picked up 2 Latitude E7450's this month on eBay for $60.00 USD and I'm planning to add a E7250 next month, (I like the E7450, but prefer something smaller for carrying around). I'm planning to get the WLD15 for adding ports them when I need it.

    Thanks for the help! :)

I use the D5000 wireless dock with mine - I have one in my bedroom and another in the living room. It needs a 60 GHz capable Dell wireless card (see my signature).

If it's anything like the RX 460 / WX 4150, it should work fine.
