There is not a difference in the motherboard for the Core i5 and Core i7, they are the same. All of the motherboards have four RAM slots. You can only use two of them with a dual-core CPU. If you upgrade to a quad-core in the future then you will be able to use all four.

    Thanks both very much
Good news. For example, I know that elitebook 8570p or 8570w or 8560p or 8560w have 2 types of motherboards...

    Hello all!

Since the K2000M of my M4700 is broken I purchased a used one from a MSI-Notebook. The only thing to do is flashing the vbios with a Dell-branded one. Is there someone who can support me with a Dell-branded vbios of the K2000M? It's easy to save from the card using nvflash (https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-nvflash/).

    Thanks in advance,

    Gunther

    Hello.
I have started to get a row of dead pixels on my M4700. It's using the AU Optronics B156HW02. I would like to know which FHD panels have been tested and confirmed working for the M4700.
    Thanks in advance.

I immediately replaced that panel that caused me eye strain.

Replaced with this, data from HWINFO64., absolutely not a great panel but at least i don't have health problems

Monitor Name: Chi Mei [Unknown Model: CMN15B1]
    Monitor Name (Manuf): N156HG [DELL P/N: VCM8X]
    Serial Number: Unknown
Date Of Manufacture: Week: 1, Year: 2012
    Monitor Hardware ID: Monitor\CMN15B1

This is another one from PaoloT87, probably this is the better panel

Monitor Name: LG Philips [Unknown Model: LGD032C]
    Monitor Name (Manuf): 156WFC [DELL P/N: DC9YJ]
Date Of Manufacture: Week: 0, Year: 2011
    Monitor Hardware ID: Monitor\LGD032C

A couple of years ago I tried to search the web to replace it with LG but I did not find anything, I think it will be difficult after so many years to find something, if you can please please report it here.

    Thanks for the reply !
    I found the LG-Philips panel P/N:LP156WFC

    I have read about a Samsung panel : LTN156HT02
Which one is better? Anything will be better than this AU Optronics garbage.
