    sadly i'm a student so my guy didn't give me a better deal , but I need to get back to him cause I ordered a 32bit vista with 4 gigs of ram ; hopefully when I change it he'll give me a freebie

    guys is the FX1700M worth the extra? what does it score in 3d mark?

    I didn't think it was worth the extra 20% or so since the 770 I understand can OC'd and virtually be the same card. I'd say you'd be better off getting the X9100 CPU which I was just drooling over but settled for the T9600 :D Mines on order since yesterday, btw.

    I don't believe it's 20% but we haven't done extensive testing. From our first 3DM06 and Cinebench benchmarks, turns out to be 1-3%. Not worth a whopping $500.

    OK.....wow, no certainly not worth it....I guess I was way high with 20% as that actually may be worth it :D
