    Try the hardware wireless switch on the right side of your notebook.

    No joy there. It illuminates the Bluetooth but not the Wi-fi.

    Constantly spinning DVD drive

    Non-functioning Wi-Fi

    If you have the intel wireless, go get the drivers from intel. I found them to work a little better.

    Have you booted into the BIOS and gone through the settings to make sure that Wi-fi is enabled?

    That driver install worked just fine - thanks all.

    Now just need to fix that constantly spinning DVD drive. :)
