2 USB on this one. one is dedicated USB and the other is the eSATA/USB port. GPU on this is the x4500 integrated Intel chip. The e4300 and e4200 only have that as an option. The e6400/e6500 have the option of nvidia or x4500. Dont know if they have both in those systems and do that hybird thing for power savings.

Screen pic compared to d630. both on hi. Not sure if it will show the dif, but the e4300 in person was MUCH brighter than the 630.

Sorry, didnt take any pics of the bottom, but the fan is on the bottom of the unit and pulls from there and vents out the side. also, both DIMM slots and all radios are on the bottom. No reason to remove the keyboard other than to clean up the drinks you spill on it :)

No idea on specs for the NV card compared to whats out there today, but it doesnt look like the old nv140 is going in there.

Do you have the LED screen backlight?

Any photo with the backlit keyboard?

Can you confirm whether D series chargers fit it?

    Enough questions ...

@fattire: Do you have more pics of the laptop open, revealing the keyboard and the area around it? Perhaps in better light? Thanks for the pics and updates so far!

I do have the keyboard shot, but it sucks because i had to take it with the flash off for the keys to show up. If i get a chance, I will bust out the tripod and take another one.

    Screen is LED backlit, yes.

D series chargers fit it. i ahve the big brick and the slim travel adapter and they both cit. in fact the charger for this one is the same size ans the slim D series charger.

the light comes around the individual keys and somewhat through the white lettering.

Yes, a bit shaky, but it shows us an impression, can't wait to order an E6500, my D800 is feeling very old and will only charge via the D-dock now.

I took a sneaky peek at other photobucket pics, is that "BlackTop" button for a built in linux/browser environment from ROM?
