Added the picture. By the way, if I push the battery while laptop is laptop is on air, then the battery does move slightly inside its compartment. So sounds like a laptop frame problem? (will they replace this frame for this problem or what?)

    Second concern:
When I watch movies or listen music, then about once every minute (sometimes less, sometimes longer intervals) comes this crackling sound. At first I thought it's a speaker problem, but when listening with headphones, then is the same problem, it's getting more and more irritating..:(
    All latest drivers are installed.

I have thought for a while, about contacting dell about audio problem, but the problem (cracking sound) appears randomly..:(

If it's what I've been talking about here, try disabling WiFi, for me it somewhy makes the sound almost stop or changes it immediately (Fn + Print Screen).
    Also try disabling Bluetooth.

Of course it isn't. Just checking if our problems have the same source/are related to the same hardware issue.

Your photo shows that the battery is sitting correctly in the chassis.

I've just done some measuring on my E7450 and the rubber pads protrude 2 mm from the battery while the finger-hold protrudes about 1 mm. If all the rubber pads are OK then the problem may be the finger-hold on your battery is sticking out too far so the fix should be another battery.

A work-around is to put thicker rubber pads on the back edge of the computer. I did this long ago to improve the air flow to the grille underneath.

How can you change these pads? Are they glued or sth, or what? And where did you get these?

Thank's a lot. Same here, been quite busy, but I'll try reporting my issue also someday. I will post mine also here, if I get some useful info.

I get my pads from ebay. There is a big selection. Search for "self adhesive rubber bumpers" (although most are plastic, not rubber). I put them alongside, not instead of, the existing pads at the back.
