Does it mean I can have up to 32GB in my e7450? I thought it's limited with 16GB total...

Oops. I've checked the price. Anyway, I'm interesting if there is a possibility to have 2x16GB setup working on e7450. Who knows how long I will be owning this notebook :)

I've got a 64GB Extreme that works fine on my E7450. Does the drive show up in Device Manager? It should be under Disk Drives. Or do you have an unconfigured device?

Occasionally, in the past I have had problems of Windows mis-recognising a flash drive and, once it has put the wrong info in the registry, it won't recognise it. This program might clear the problem.

I use Firefox on my E7450. Occasionally I get an almost blank screen when switching to open Firefox but going to another window and then back to FF always clears the problem. It's difficult to say if it's a graphics driver glitch or a Firefox problem but it happens infrequently and there's a quick fix so it doesn't worry me.

In theory, it should work. People at my former employer have had good luck putting 16GB DIMMs in a somewhat comparable Lenovo models (specifically the X250 and T450s) although those are one-DIMM-slot models (with ISTR 4gb soldered as well, in the case of the T450s.)

Given the transition to DDR4 happening as fast as it is, I have no idea if 16GB DDR3L sticks will ever be cost-effective, but it's nice to have the option.

Update the drivers with Dell Command Update.
Are you using 32 or 64 bit Firefox?

Everything is up to date via Dell Command Update.

    I

32-bit I guess. Is it worth to try 64-bit?

If you have a lot of tabs open, 64-bit can perform better, and won't get the "blank pages instead of tabs because you've run out of process memory" bug, but you have to have a LOT of tabs open. I like it a lot, and was running 64-bit beta versions for about a year before it became official.

That said, I can't see how it would make a difference with the bug you're seeing. Disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox might help:

It's unclear if that is a PCIe or SATA SSD. The keying is B+M (two notches). However, that configuration can be indicative of both mSATA and PCIe. I doubt if one of the lesser-known brands would have opted for the PCEe interface and the testing platform info here gives no mention of PCIe.

First we need someone to try one of these SSDs (which is definitely PCIe) to confirm that the WWAN slot does support a PCIe SSD.

This is a wonderful post! I got more info then everything else I found online combined.
So software-wise, which ones should be uninstalled right after you got the laptop :p
