    What is going on with the screen on the 7720? First there were 2 UHD options, with one of them having 100% Adobe colour gamut. Then the 100% option was no longer available. And now there's apparently no UHD option at all.

    In which country? On the US site there is still the UHD-ISP-option.

    All, there is/was an error on the 7720 site. It was showing up to two different UHD panels. There is only one UHD panel and two suppliers. This is/will be corrected soon.
    The 7520 has multiple vendors for the FHD panel. One of the panels has giving me grief with Xeon CPU's so I restricted it. The other options have/will be soon in there to allow these purchases.
    Sorry for the pains in ordering and thanks for being Precision customers!!!

    For those asking about putting a P3000 in the 7520, sorry but that graphic card doesn't fit. As @Aaron44126 stated correctly, the 7520 has a MXM type A slot and the P3000 is a MXM type B card. You can fit A into B but not B into A.

    I was wrong with my earlier post on UHD panels and single memory DIMMs. The UHD panel requires at least dual memory DIMMs in the system. Forgot about this rule.

    @Dell-Mano_G I placed an order of 7520 on March 21 but it is still not shipped. Do you know how long it will take for it to be ready? I need the computer next week.

    @Dell-Mano_G ,
    Thanks for letting us know. I almost cancelled my order because of this.

    Just to confirm, the 17" UHD panel is the same panel from two separate suppliers? They are identical panels and both are IGZO IPS panels with 100% color gamut? Please confirm this if you are able.
    Thanks in advance.
    Appreciate your presence here in NBR.

    Not 100% sure for 7720. But as far as I know, for 7710, there are two vendors for the UHD screen, AUO and Sharp. The tech specs should be very similar with each other. Probably Sharp screen has lower cost than AUO's. The AUO panel B173zan01.0 should be slightly better than Sharp because Sharp screen has PWM issue under low brightness while AUO screen completely doesn't. There is a big chance that 7720 still use the same UHD panels from AUO and Sharp. I would say AUO is a better choice.

    Just curious, does 7520 uses the same UHD screen as 7510's?

    It is normal for there to be a shipping delay for products that are just launching. As an example, I purchased my M6700 on the first day that orders were available and I did not get my shipping confirmation until 14 days later. The web site says 11-14 business days to ship, and it has only been 9 since March 21.

    Keep waiting! :)
