Yes, it is normal for there to be a delay, especially when the new systems are just launching... Just keep waiting.

Seen a few post on the 7710 thread and maybe here about ECC and Zeon vs non-ECC. Jumping from a 64Gb i7 to comparable 64Gb Zeon is only about $175 more. Given the total cost I'm looking at, that's a tiny hit - thinking why not?

Unless you are a gamer (...but a gamer with a Precision 77Xx...I can't believe it....), I would have no doubt: Xeon+ECC!!!

Have you seen the heat management issues with "gamer notebooks"? Not to mention, the glowing green logos. I can't wait to kick in the tires when mine arrives ^_^

And now they cancelled the UHD-Display-Option on the german site and cancelled my order - without email notification! I assume, it depends on the panel selection and I hope they will place my order again with no delivery delay.

Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to have surprise cancellations on a newly-launched model. You should contact them to see what's up, they will most likely not reinstate your order if you don't do anything.

Be sure, I did it this morning immediately. But it wasn't an easy task to get my salesassistent on my canceled order (I have the phone number but can't get her on phone).

Dell just cancelled my order (issued March, 24th, Xeon 1535M, FHD display, P5000, 32GB 2.666 MHz DDR4) here in Germany. However nothing changed in the shop. So I just re-issued the order. Let's see if it will go through this time.

I just take a look into the 7720 owner's manual. The display options are listed on page 24:
Touch could mean touch display, but at no other place is mentioned, that the displays are displays with touch functionality.
This is a misunderstanding on my side or mistake in the owner's manual, isn't it?
