Did you install the nvidia driver?

It should add an NVidia Control Panel to the classic Windows Control Panel and add an entry in the desktop context menu.

There is an option to show a tray icon which indicates which apps are running on the nvidia GPU.

In the Windows display options you can use display scaling and set it to 250% ore more.
But for high DPI unaware apps that will work by bitmap scaling the windows content which will produce blurry content.

Dell tech reps don't always know the finer details of the product and we've seen plenty of incorrect statements in the past. Did you test the drive by itself? There are extra pins/contacts on the SATA connector to support the PCIe interface with the interposer, and we had the Dell Precision product manager post right on the forums to confirm that it will use the PCIe interface and not SATA with the Interposer (in 7510/7710, but not 5510).

For those of you that have heard both - how do the noise levels of the M6800 compare with the 7710? When the M6800's gpu is put under full load it can get quite loud with a high pitched fan - is the 7710 similar?

Two 7710's (A and B) with same hardware and BIOS configuration.

If I remove the storage drives from A and plug them on B in the same corresponding bays, will B work fine or will there be any software issues (like CPU ID dependent signatures)?

When traveling between different homes/offices it will be easier to carry just the drives

7710 is much more of a low pitched whoosh when the fans kick into high.

This will be fine as long as you have the SATA mode in the BIOS set the same on both systems.
(In fact, while Windows 7 was pretty picky, if you are using Windows 10 it will boot up even on completely different hardware configurations in most cases.)
