    Hi,

I am planning to buy a fully equipped Precision 7710. But when I configure my system on dell.de I get a warning that the UHD-IGZO display is not compatible with the 4G/LTE-card (DW5811e)
I experienced this already with my M6700 when they told me that it's not possible to get the IPS-10bit-display with the 3G-card (because of lacking antennas).
But of course it was possible and I installed it by myself (all necessary antennas available).

My question is: is it the same here (all antennas in place) or is it really not possible to get both (UHD display and LTE) at the same time?

    Thanks in advance.

    Alex

My system has both. No warnings/errors when I configured it on the web site, so sounds like something wrong at Dell's side...

@RealJEDI You might need to call in your order or contact your region sales office. Dell website for my region USA is only giving me limited customization ability when ordering a 7710 for some reason. I can't order an m4000m or m5000m GPU if I try to order via website at the moment.

*edit: Now I see I can configure it with an m5000m via the website, but cannot configure it with 64GB. It is not the worst configurator but it is probably the most inconsistent. Every day the web page changes config options

Do you guys think it is possible to add a webcam to a Precision 7710 after already receiving it without it? I don't mind buying the part and installing myself. Thanks

    Somewhat related to RealJEDI's question,
I was ready to buy the 7710 back in January but waited for the Thunderbolt3 option to show up.
Now that it has, I noticed that the LTE option is only available for AT&T whereas before Thunderbolt3 there was a "Generic" option as I have Verizon.
I was hoping the generic card is just out of stock but after waiting for two months I'm getting tired of waiting. No sales rep can tell me when/if they're restocking the generic card.
Can someone who has the generic LTE card post the part number for it so I can just order it from the parts department? Thank you in advance.

AIUI, they are all unlocked and the "for AT&T" part just means you get a (useless) AT&T SIM with it. Would be worth confirming with sales, just to be certain.

For the DW5811e, it's 556-BBJW for the whole thing including the module (3P10Y for just that part) and the screws, label and a bunch of service charges (installation? software? driver?)
