I had similar situation. If you have same version ('pro' and 'pro'), you can call Microsoft, and they will upgrade your windows 7 pro license key to a Windows 10 pro license key. You have to give them the actual (non oem) windows 7 key, they will upgrade the key, and give you back a Windows 10 pro key. Make sure you also ask them to email the key, so you don't loose it.

So, if it is possible, the faster way is call microsoft for the upgrade of my win7 pro key to 10pro. So I can donwload ISO from microsft and create bootable USB for example between http://rufus.akeo.ie/
Mount my 950 pro, check in the BIOS "raid mode" = On, activate UEFI and "legacy rom" Off.
So I can start the installation.
After that windows requires some particular drivers to perfect recognize NVMe or not?

    Thanks!

Yes that would be the fastest, easiest way.

For drivers, you will need the 950 pro drivers, can't recall where they are but I'm sure Samsung website has them.

As for what setting and way to install nicely, there's a few good posts on this site fully explaining it. I myself had issues way back when, and still just running raid in bios. Drive speeds are still great, Samsung software doesn't recognize it but w/e, don't need rapid on a 950 anyway.

You don't even have to use a tool like that to create the USB drive. The Microsoft tool will make the USB drive for you.
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Also don't think you have to call them to swap the key (though you certainly can if you'd rather have a Windows 10 key). Windows 10 will be taking Windows 7 keys until the end of July. Once you successfully activate once, you will be able to activate the machine again even past the deadline if you need to.

    ok for the microsoft tool.
So you are saying I can run win 7 on the base HDD the comes with 7710. Upgrade to win10 through windows update.
After remove that Hdd and install my 950 pro and do a native win10 installation and the win7pro will work for win10 since previously activated?

    Thanks!

Not quite, though you could do that. I'm saying, when you install Windows 10 (from scratch, clean install), you should be able to enter your Windows 7 product key, and it will take it and activate successfully.

Dell has added an additional CPU option for the E3-1505M v5 and is now showing that Thunderbolt 3 with USB Type-C is included as a standard with the i7 and E3 CPU options. Earlier this week all the chassis options for i7 and E3 said "No Type C".

The Generic Mobile Broadband option is no longer available. AT&T is now the only option now.

I have a M6700 with IPS and recently got a 7710 with a 4K screen. I always liked the IPS on the M6700. But the 4K screen is a whole different level.

The chiclet style keys of the 7710 results in too much bleeding around the edges. Actually 'bleeding' is not a strong enough word to describe it

Hmm. I think I prefer the M6700 keyboard. Then again I'm not a very good typist

The M3000M can run Witcher 3 well enough at 2560 x 1600. Not at 4K resolution though

The Windows 7 Pro product key that comes with a Precision is an OEM product key. You can only call Microsoft to convert a retail Windows 7 Pro product key to a Windows 10 Pro product key. OEM licenses are not eligable.
