I have got an offer from Dell for a 7710 like this:
512GB M.2 PCIe High Performance Solid State Drive, MPWS
    1 No Additional Hard Drive
1 Additional 1TB M.2 PCIe Solid State Drive, MPWS

I can see that there are two 1TB disk, but I assume the M.2 PCIe I have in my offer are the fastest (and best) alternative

Just wondering, can I add a M.2 PCIe Solid State Drive, MPWS later, or does it need to be done at the time of ordering?

You can add drives later. You might need to locate a screw to install extra M.2 PCIe drives.

You can add first and second M.2 2280 PCIe-NVMe by yourself. If you would like, to make 3 x M.2 configuration, you should order M.2 SSD as a third drive on Dell.

We got an Oculus Rift running on a 7710 with M5000M graphics today. Should be impossible, but it works.

Where do I find the screw that secures the M.2 SSD to the 7710?

I am ordering the Samsung 950 Pro.

    Is this an M2 x 3mm screw?

    Thanks.

For an M.2 NVME SSD like the Samsung 950 Pro the M.2x3mm screw is it; I went through this with another system about three days ago; I had used my last some time ago and the company left these and other screws out; I found: Mcsher 300pcs Laptop Notebook Screws Kit Set For IBM HP Dell Lenovo SAMSUNG Sony Toshiba Gateway on amazon to have what I actually needed as the drive screws for the M.2 were absent but also others were stripped or absent from the system.

Is any of you using linux able to use m.2 SSDs in RAID?

If so, which kernel module drives it?
