Forgot to add, the GPU itself is awesome, got around 8k in Firestrike and as I've hoped it seems that P3000 has a lower TDP profile then Firepro M6100. At least it doesn't turn fans at all while running simple games as Torchlight... :)

You should disable optimus for better game compatibility, the game might want to render in a non supported resolution of the intel HD
And also when you disable optimus you don't have to set up windows graphical settings for every game

I've managed to fix the issue without disabling anything...
I've used DDU and uninstalled AMD, Intel and nVidia drivers, then setup new intel drivers and patched nvidia. Erased all the cache and stored settings of WoW and it started up :)
The performance is insane compared to previous FirePro m6100, fan barely working and I get desired 60 fps in WoW, now laptop is silent like a breeze.

I would like to thank you everyone on this thread or better to say on the forum who shared their wisdom and allowed such updates for precision users.

Purchase of my precision in 2015, became even more valuable now :)

hey sorry i've been busy with finals and didn't follow up. its been working amazingly stably with the custom vbios. also to the people saying/asking if WoW works, i only have the free starter account but it seems to work fine for me in dx12 mode, which it entered by default. it is pretty good for performance and i haven't had issues gaming at 1080p 60hz high to ultra settings in most of the games i've been playing with it. because i've signed the driver with my own personal signature i don't have test signing mode on. the only game i haven't gotten to launch is far cry 5 and i suspect it has to do with some aspect of anticheat. but im not sure in the slightest and it may just be an incompatibility, or it could have been a driver version issue.

follow up to my previous post. i fixed far cry 5. it seemed to be an issue with my previously used 430 drivers. i upgraded to 441.20 and resigned it and the game seems to run just fine now. honestly this is better than i could've expected and runs so much smoother and quieter than my old k5100m graphics card. most of that is due to the fact that it is a much newer generation gpu with a 25% lower power limit at 75watts. but i really do appreciate the difference. but realistically i think this is really the limit that haswell generation machines will hit with graphics considering that it takes a certain preproduction vbios to even let it work. thanks to all those on the thread who contribute as you all inspired me to mod my system with the gpu.

Is possible to work the P3000 on M6800 just modifying the nvidia .inf file? I'm using Quadro M3000M at this moment with Windows 10

You will have to flash the vBIOS before Windows will boot. (You can use nvflash in Linux to do the flash.) This is all discussed earlier in the thread, basically the same setup/requirements as the P5000, just a different vBIOS image to flash.

Thanks for the answer. I really searched through this whole topic but did not find vBIOS for Quadro P3000. Would you know where I find this one? I have a Precision 7720 on hand to make this update before using on 6800.

Can anyone point me to the vBIOS editor which will work for P3000 bios?
