Hrm, beginning to suspect that it's for the Latitude ON Flash card they used to have. I don't think they make regular mSATA cards that small.

My WEI for Graphics (Aero) is coming up 4.7 and under Details it states Intel HD Graphics Family. Gaming graphics is coming up 6.4. I have the NVIDIA NiVS 4200M in my machine. I notice @heinz2005 indicates his new results, and his graphics went from 5.7 to 6.4. Do I have something configured incorrectly resulting in the low Graphics/Aero score?

    TIA,

    Mike

NewModeUS has the HDD Media Bay Caddy. They just shipped them out and I have one and it fits like the OEM one from Dell I have that I paid $160 for. Also it takes a 9mm HDD which the OEM doesn't take. It takes only 7mm HDD's.

Nice. I'm still hoping to see if my E6510 caddy will fit before ordering a new one.

    Two questions.

    1) How many mpci-e ports does this have? How many are used (ie, by WLAN). I'm hoping for a x4 or x2 egpu setup :)

    2) Has anyone installed the GT 520 drivers on their NVS4200? Anyone attempted to raise clocks with MSI Afterburner or something? Thanks!

You can use nvidia ntune to overclock the NVS4200 card. There is no problem to overclock the card to its default frequency.

Awesome news! Do you think I can install GT 520 drivers without much hassle? Just manually select them? Or will it fail?

I've heard of people installing GTX drivers on Quadros...

I don't know. What's the difference between GTX drivers and Quadro drivers?

I just got an E6520 from Dell Outlet yesterday and right out of the box I encountered strange behavior from it.

1- When Optimus is enabled in BIOS, both Intel and nVidia GPUs show up in device manager and it shows both have proper driver installed. But if I disable Optimus in BIOS and start Win7, it says it can't find the driver for nVidia GPU and install a generic driver for it! Is it like this for everyone else? How can the driver exists with Optimus and disappear without it?

Second, every 30 mins or so the laptop restarts on its own. The screen goes crazy for a second or two and shows checkerboard image and then it shuts off and restarts. (See the pic below)
I checked the temp and nothing is overheating and the pattern is completely random so that can't be the cause. Sometimes it happens while its idle, sometimes while I am browsing the internet, I couldn't found a pattern but it does that every time. Has anyone encountered anything like this?

I am thinking I got a faulty system and should probably return it.

PS: I am using the Dell factory image and I haven't changed anything or installed anything so unless the factory image is faulty it shouldn't be a software problem.
