    I ordered this one:

    2nd Hard Drive Caddy DELL E6520, E6420, E6320 E-Module Bay [DELL-2BAY-E6520] - $48.95 : NewmodeUS, Hard Drive Caddys for Notebooks

It clearly states that it supports 9.5mm drives. I used a similar product from the same supplier for my E6510, which worked perfect!

Wow, i didn't know that. Do you have screenshot that you could show us. Also a Windows Experience score would be cool.

Does anyone know how we can run this test, and utilize the 2nd Nvidia GPU?

Is it possible to shut down the Nvidia in Bios? I want to save battery power if traveling? In M4600 thread somebody wrote that it is possible there.

    Thanks, Walter

no. it is possible to disable optimus (which prevents the intel card from loading). but the nvidia card can be prevented from coming on very easily in its driver settings. (or you can just disable it in device manager)

I have a quick question for everyone. Dell just swapped out my e6520 with another e6520 because of some niggling problems I was having. The question is this:: is the Seagate or Toshiba drive better quality? Normally I'd opt for a seagate, but wanted to know people's thoughts (and WHY?).

    Thanks!

My 6520 worked fine with the OEM Seagate. I got the Seagate Momentus XT and it does load quicker as well as open programs faster. I use the OEM Seagate from Dell as a backup in an external enclosure I bought.

Excuse my ignorance but what is intel vPro Technology's Advanced Management Features? The person at Dell said it was usefull to get so that when you call prosupport they can fix your computer remotely.

It's for enterprise IT management of your PC... more or less. Google Intel vPro to read about it.

I would consider it unnecessary unless you have an IT group staffed to make use of it. Many PCs are sold without it, so it's not required to get support from Dell.

    Good Morning :)

Another question. Does the 9-cell battery stick out? I read that in Precision M4600 does not - in my present Dell it does and is annoying.

    Best, Walter
