    Unfortunately, it says:"Memory Size (Total) 16384MB (2 module(s) x 8192MB)"....so only 16Gb for the E6430 :(

I second this... I'm really curious especially in situations with the quad.

So I've had my e6430 for about two weeks and here are the only issues I've encountered so far:

    1) When connecting to old Dell projectors, the display never seems to realize it has connected to the projector and cycles through trying to set the output correctly. It works fine with our newer projectors and I've not tested on the problematic older model since installing the latest beta driver from NVidia (assuming it is Optimus at fault), but I'll update you all if the newer driver resolves the issue.

    2) The right mouse button for the touchpad sticks. It doesn't really bother me much so I'll leave it as-is for now -- I may revisit again in a month if the sticky key doesn't work itself out.

    1) seems like a driver issue
    2) Get Dell to replace the keyboard, it's easier than putting up with the sticky button.

Is there any good discount site or coupon for the E6430. My configuration gets me to more than $1800 while they are offering a 30% coupon for the E6420!

The E6420 is still being sold on Dell's website and not even the outlet. Second, even if the E6430 is brand new, it is still very expensive compared to competitors.

Hey guys, I should be getting my 6430 next week. I had a question regarding the modem cover / port on the back. Even though I did not get the modem, it the physical port still there, so that I could add a mini modem card if I wanted to?

I almost went for the 6530, but I really missed the smaller size of my d620, and the 6430 specs are pretty much identical to the 6530.

    My specs are as follows:

    3rd gen Intel Core i5-3320M Processor (2.6GHz, 3M cache)
    2.0GB, DDR3-1600MHz SDRAM, 1 DIMM
Internal Backlit Dual Pointing English Keyboard
NVIDIA NVS 5200M (GDDR5 1GB) Discrete Graphic with Optimus
    500GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
Dell ControlVault, Fingerprint Reader, Smartcard Reader and Contactless Smartcard Reader, Dual Point
    14.0" HD+(1600x900) Anti-Glare LED-backlit
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit
Dell Wireless 380 Bluetooth 4.0 LE Module
    90W 3-Pin, AC Adapter
    8X DVD+/-RW
Light Sensitive Webcam and Noise Cancelling Digital Array Mic
    Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 802.11n 3x3 Half Mini Card
9-Cell (97WH) Primary Lithium Ion Battery
    $1392

    I'll probably throw in an SSD at some point, and I already picked up the following RAM for $47 on newegg. Newegg.com - G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Laptop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBSK
