My 6410 is "in production" since Tuesday. How log does it take? I´m ordered it at Dell-Germany. Do they still manufacturing in Lodz/Poland?

Edit: I'm terrified. My deliverydate is now 2,5 weeks later then the first one. But the status is already "in production".

I ordered mine on 7.4. My order confirmation missed my order number and so I asked for it on the 12.4. I got it an went to dell.de/status. When I took the first look it already was in production.

It changed to shipped on the 21.4. and was collected by UPS on the 22.4. (and since then it`s an "exception" and I think I`ll have to wait a week or more, the bad ash cloud from iceland.. ;))

order in germany via asknet student portal..

original delivery date as 20-04; then pushed back to 26-04; later 12-05 and now it's cancelled

they might get me to order a fully upgraded Precision M4500 instead or a Lenovo T510

OK, then you have to contact asknet. maybe they had canceled you order. do they had already you money? I had ordered direct @ Dell. Asknet between was no option for me.

My original date was april 28th, currently it is may 17th.

I ordered mine in Austria, and my E6410 is currently stuck in Shanghai... UPS is having some delays due to the Volcanic Ash in Europe (Blöde Wolke jetzt wirds persönlich)
So I think it's safe to say that the german ones are also made in China. But the good news is, the production status only lasted 4 days. I had an estimated arrival date on May 20th, but the notebook is already on the way (I hope it will get here next week)
