    Yeah dell. They'll send them to you for free. just say you found them stripped when you opened up your laptop to put in a new hard drive.

    I had one heck of a time with Dell as well. The first person I spoke with said my Vostro 1700 could only hold one hard drive. The second, third, fourth and fifth persons I spoke with transferred me to the sixth person.

    That final person could only guarantee me the carrier, and possible the interposer. NOT the screws!!

    Then I stumbled across a website: www.newmodeus.com. They have EVERYTHING you need to add a second hard drive in the Vostro 1700, as well as many other makes and models. The items are in stock, and less expensive!
