As the launch date gets closer more and more information is becoming available. I thought I'd gather some of it here.

    Brazilian launch article:
Novos notebooks Vostro: Dell faz lançamento mundial no Brasil | Segs.com.br Portal Nacional

    Chinese battery blog review:
    love-battery: DELL Vostro 3360 3460 3560 Series laptop coming

    Ubuntu approved:
Ubuntu on Dell Vostro 3560 | Ubuntu

I'll summarize some key information below.

    Availability
Already available in Brazil: Novo! Detalhes do notebook Vostro 3560 | Dell Brasil
Worldwide launch is supposedly June 12.

    Models
There's three models so far, the 3360 (13"), 3460 (14"), and 3560 (15"). The 3360 has been slimmed down, so it's more of a replacement for the V131 than the 3350. The 3460 and 3560 are more or less direct replacements the 3450 and 3550 respectively. The design remains very similar to the 3x50 series.

    CPU
A mix of IVB (i5,i7) and SNB (i3). Chipset is HM77
This also means up to 32 GB of DDR3 1600 should be supported.

    GPU
The 3460 has GT 630m option.
The 3560 has HD 7670m option.
There might be a GT 640m option somewhere.

    Screen resolution
All of them come with a base resolution of 1366x768. The 3560 is upgradable to full HD 1920x1080 :D.
I'm disappointed that there's no 1600x900 option for the 3460, but hopefully they'll have that option for North America or it'll be possible as an aftermarket upgrade.

    SSDs
Both the 3460 and 3560 support msata SSDs. At least in Brazil Dell has 32 GB caching SSDs.

Overall I'm pretty excited to see what'll be available in North America. While personally I'd prefer less than 15", methinks the FHD screen could be very compelling.

Good finds. I didn't even think to check support documents since Dell usually releases them so late.

At least now we know that replacing the harddrive on the 3460 is no longer a bad joke.

Uhmmm it seems ExpressCard is now not available for Vostros 3460, 14" and smaller...
Dell is missing the plot there. There are plenty of market segments that need a mobile notebook that includes this direct access to the internal PCIe 2.0 bus, because of its connecting versatility or its low latency.

The list of left-aside users is long and I suspect they don't usually post much on forums, (not up to the level of Latitudes or Precision line users)... but the incoming low sales are going to be quite revealing, as are the rising Lenovo professional line sales, which -by the way- have just been revamped, including several portable and powerful models all including ExpressCard as standard or optional.
Dell seems not to be paying enough attention, for instance to the many posts in this very forum stating the frustration with last year 13" Vostro 3350, lack of ExpressCard... Now this frustration is going to be extended to the so-far popular Vostro's 14" size!!!

The 1080p option will be welcomed on the 3560.

Is the Vostro 3360 the replacement for the Vostro V131 ? I was hopping a new and improved V131 with a mSATA port, and using standard voltage CPUs.

The Vostro 3360 uses low power Ivy Bridge and loses the back lit keyboard.

Well Vostro 3560 with full HD seems OK, looking forward to see with AMD Trinity APU.
