How full are your SSDs, have you overprovisioned them?

For information about overprovisioning have a look at this whitepaper by Samsung:
Maximize SSD Lifetime and Performance With Over-Provisioning

Do you have both RAID-0 drives in the primary and secondary drive bays, which are both SATA-3? Or is one located in the optical drive bay, which is SATA-2?

Do you also have the mSATA drive installed (so 4 drives in total)?

    yes correct

mSATA is installed by dell (original) - I bought/ordered the M6700 only with mSATA

later I had bought 2 EVO SSD and I assembled this in primary and secondary hdd bay

last month I bought a third EVO SSD with optical bay and I have replaced the build in dvd with the optical drive bay.

But I did not know that the DVD bay is only SATA-2? Are you sure?

    There are only 2 - SATA 3 6Gb/s slots, Primary and Secondary. mSATA is SATA 2 - 3Gb/s. OD is SATA 2 - 3 Gb/s.

Edit: This should be verifiable in the M6700 Owners manual and/or Intel specs for Chipset and Processor for notebook computers.

RCB is right, the optical drive is SATA 3 Gbps only, it is a limitation of the Ivy Bridge chipsets (all of them), they only have two SATA 6 Gbps ports and those are wired to the two main drive bays. Optical, mSATA and eSATA are all SATA 3 Gbps.

Finally decided to pull the trigger on a new Precision and since there seems to be some issues still to be worked out with the M6800, decided I would go with the m6700. So I logged into my Dell acct and configured a fairly nice build. Once it was in my cart, the price was just around $3000.00 canadian. Figured I would try the chat option to see if a sales rep would offer a better discount as I could buy the same machine for about $500.00 less from a re-seller on Ebay. Once the chat was underway and I explained to the rep what I was looking for, they began asking for my business name and info. I explained the purchase was not for a business, and just my personal use. They then proceeded to tell me that since I was a home user, they were going to switch me to another rep, which they did and it just went downhill from there. So I ended that and called Dell directly. Same result, as soon as I said it was for personal use, the rep stated that they would have to switch me over to Home and Office where I could purchase a Inspiron of XPS???? Unbelievable!!!. What is wrong with their training process that they basically refuse to sell you a precision unless you have a business. Michael Dell went to the trouble to take the company private again to save it....looks like he has his work cut out for him.

When I called Dell I was able to place an order through the business store even though I wasn't buying it for a business. (They even let me use a Dell Business Credit account, essentially creating a business with myself as the sole proprietor.) I placed the order with a rep by phone. Should be possible, if they try to transfer you just explain that you want to purchase a Precision which is only available through the business store, and that you'd like to continue to place the order there using your name as the business name. Or just make up a business for yourself (in the U.S. at least creating a sole proprietorship doesn't require any legal work or filing).

Granted, I was going through Dell U.S. and not Dell Canada, don't know how different it is. Still, many people in this thread have purchased a personal Precision in several different countries. Just stay firm. :)

Didn't have a problem about a year ago going through Dell business even if it was for personal use. I just told them I was doing a PhD, that I wanted the build quality, warranty and ISV cert.
