Ah, at least now we're getting somewhere; I suspected as much. My installation was as always: install ONLY and at the defaults.

When I installed my 320.00 drivers it was windows 8 64 bit ODE, only installed the graphics driver and HDMI audio, everything else is unchecked. And that got me the black screen. Maybe nview and stuff is needed?

Strangely enough, your scores are lower than the K5000m at stock, which driver were you on and did you check whether the card was throttling?

Yeah, took me some time to get around to updating the data I got so far.

Speaking of stock, I'd be satisfied if someone could just show me how to get the built-in overclocking working. I have no games (at the moment), but I wouldn't mind the extra 15% dedicated towards rendering, and all without going out of the safety zone. Is there a software or OEM setting?

I was using 311.50 since 320.00 was giving me black screen problems. I...don't think it was throttling? I'd have to run it again but the scores are fine for me. Although lower than stock is kind of worrisome. I may revisit it to double check on the throttling.

How do you guys monitor cpu temps? I used openhardwaremonitor and sometimes it was reporting 24ghz. I'd sure like to have such power but I'm sure the program was freaking out.

Edit: Built in overclocking? That sounds like an awesome feature I'd like to use. Never knew that existed.

I use Intel XTU to monitor CPU temps, clock speeds, multipliers, etc. For overall monitoring HWMonitor and HWiNFO.

As for the scores, it could just be the driver version, they aren't that much lower, at what resolution were you running them, 1920x1080?

I just installed the program and hit the benchmark button, so whatever the default res was, that's what I used. I already uninstalled it though so I can't check. Guess it's time to download it again.

It defaults to the res you're currently using as far as I know,it was set to 1920x1080 by default for me.
