@Garet: I will be throwing a Vertex 3 in my M6700 this weekend. I will let you know if I run into any problems. IIRC they both use SandForce controllers.

The Samsung 830 ultimately is going into my Mac so I can use FileVault 2 (full disk encryption) without much perf hit.

I just got an update about my order, they're still working on it and apparently they had a shortage of a part and that is what's delaying everything. Hopefully I'll be getting it soon and if there hasn't been an unboxing done yet I will do it then! It's been almost a month I'm waiting for so that sucks...

And even if there has. You do your thing, and let them do theirs. Your audience (via hits) will let you know if they appreciate your efforts.

680M is more in line with the K5000M in terms of gaming performance. The K5000M is much more expensive, though.

AFAIK no one has tried replacing the graphics card in the M6700 with a GeForce yet. People have reported success with the M6600. I think it should work but we won't know for sure until someone tries it.

Well if you're intending to use your computer purely as a gaming rig I see no reason to pay the extra for the stability and longevity of the CUDA version.

I just don't see how the company should would want to offer it configured that way since it would be much less economical lucrative.

I'm a small business customer and I don't own a small business. I even have a Dell Business Credit account. My sales rep walked me through the process of getting set up, quite painless.
