The enclosure and screws you need to add a second 2.5" drive are included. For the mSATA, it does just go into the mSATA slot, but it needs to be secured with one screw that is not included.

There is no screw include for the eSATA. However, when you unlock your primary HDD (it ships secured with a locking screw) you can use that one to hold the eSATA.

I'm still minus a screw though, as my 2nd HDD is only secured with 3. A pair of spare screws would have been nice.

There should be 4 screws for the second HDD to the right of the bay when the laptop is upside down, there is no screw for the mSATA though. For mine, I used a spare I had on hand, I disassembled one or two old laptops to get spare screws just for that.

What do you mean by upside down? Any change the mSata drive will have a screw inside the package? I think some ssd's even come with an extra bay.
    Thanks

The screw that locks the hard drive release switch (left edge of battery compartment) can be used for the mSata card.

    Just updated A09.

Also found a new software by the name of Dell Precision Performance Optimizer Application (DPPO), but when i tried to install it says required license (16 digits). Anyone knows what is it about?

Guess you skipped the installation instructions :)

"This file contains a compressed (or zipped) set of files. Download the file to a folder on your hard drive, and then run (double-click) it to unzip the set of files. Open a command prompt. Go to the unzipped-directory and then type in (or copy/paste) "PoaInstaller.exe /s KEY=4A75-EF89-D2A4-18D8-C30C" to run the installer. Follow the instructions to complete the installation."

I mean when you open the back panel, so flip it, open the back panel and look to the right of where you can put the second 2.5" HDD, there should be 4 screws there to secure a second drive, they won't work for the mSATA, but should you want a second hard drive, you can use those to secure it.

My M4 mSATA didn't come with a screw, I had to use one I already had.

Preconfigured settings for popular workstation applications currently include:
    Autodesk® Maya®
    Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks®
    PTC® Creo

Install fine on m6600 as-well, don't see anything beyond registry tweaks though.

This has the potential to be an excellent tool for professional with these softwares. However, nothing yet, for Adobe suite despite the ad for it.

I'm hoping some attention will be given to Avid as well since they too (esp. ProTools) have the propensity to be configuration particular. Not sure I like this machine account though?

Incidentally, any comments on Dell's backup? Not very informative during processing.
