Edit: Caution, some devices like our HP printer require the key to be # 1 (on the router) - just so you know!

    Where the Red line is:

    Welcome :)

As soon as you figure out the User CP you'll be expected to help out around here . . . :p

After about 1.5 years with my first Workstation and Windows 7 - I'm beginning to feel comfortable with it.

Because I forgot - just spent an hour refreshing on how to draw a circle outline in Photoshop  so easy.

    Thank you for that.

Never seen that screen before. Is it an intel driver thing, rather than the windows management one?

If you have the Intel Wi-Fi card (I forgot to ask you), there is a icon in the tray (click configure). I personally don't set up my wireless through windows (or let windows manage wireless, although they're somewhat linked). It still uses W7 white icon in the tray front to show the connection and will contain some intel settings you put in - still I set it up through intel icon.

I've personally never had problems with the basic Windows wireless management. If you're using Window's network management, open up the network and sharing center and check whether your wireless network at home is there in the list of wireless networks to remember. If it is there, remove it completely and then reconnect to your home network. If it's not there, it means that for some reason Windows did not remember that network.

Well Windows has forgotten it again. What a pain!

Never had the trouble with my previous win7 machine.

Have you checked the settings in the network and sharing center like I mentioned?

Also make sure your wireless adapter drivers are up to date, you can use the device manager to see what adapter you got.

Soulfire: which wireless card do you have and which graphics card?

My factory image always had trouble with this and just recently updating the driver fixed other issues. You could try Tijo's suggestion above. The thing is getting all the profiles deleted from everywhere then recreating, otherwise they're in two places.

    Hi all,

My M6700 only properly moves into sleep about 9 out of 10 times. Every 10th time it only shuts down the display and the umts-connection. It seems as if it has to do with processes going on in IE9. The problem is that it's really frozen then, I have to disconnect the battery in order to have access.

    Thanks for input
