Look at the resource monitor and check for the installed vs Total RAM, you should see 32GB installed. That .1 is likely reserved by some hardware or something making it unavailable to the OS.

Has Dell given you any guidance on when we can see a fix for Intel RAID and eSATA operation? If not, would you be comfortable with PM'ing me your case# so I can try to escalate the issue?

Just ordered my 65W heatsink. Took 45 minutes on the phone. Ended up with just over $20 with shipping and tax.

If it ships when they said it will, I should have it by the end of the week and I will try to install it Friday morning.

For me it took a little less than a week to get it, Dell is pretty good at shipping parts fast.

Yup, that makes 32GB flushof installed RAM, as to what hardware is taking up the 62MB RAM, some controllers I'm guessing, but what exactly, dunno.

Order it online from Dell or call Dell, they build them after you place your order.

Is the 65W heatsink beefier than the unit we get on the Core i7-3940XM (55W TDP)? Can you post a part number? Also, can you post a few pictures of this unit when you get it? Thanks
