Yes, they will. I have it confirmed that they are releasing a revised touch panel. Not sure of the details other than much less glare and more capabilities.

True, but it's like rear seat windows that don't all the way down. Even though you might rarely lower them, you still feel cheated somehow. :p
From what I've found that touch panel is scheduled to be released along with the introduction of Windows 8 in October.

Awesome! How about some CPU/GPU temp screenshots while benching?

Will do. GPU is cooler. Runs in the 60 - 75C range. CPU runs hotter and up to 90C with the Prime95 maximum heat settings. Max temp on the XM CPU is 105, so it still has 15C of headroom. The machine I am testing is technically pre-production, so the CPU temps may be higher on this one. Also, this machine is allowing the CPU to pull 60ish watts all the time. A 45 watts non extreme edition CPU will run cooler.

Can you tell us if turbo mode is available with the k5000m? Its reported to add an additional 15% determined by manufacture allowances.

Might be a well-known thing, but do you have experience with the battery slice on Dell? My question is the usage priority, i,e, are the slice and the internal battery both used at the same time or the slice is used first? It makes sense for it to be the former, but would prefer the latter for increasing the internal batter'y longevity. The slice might be a good way to boost up the IPS battery life if needed.
