    We need some info:
    1) What kind of card you are using? Blue from HP or Green from Dell?
    2) Have you flashed vBIOS to it?
    3) Do you have proper heatsink?

1: im using the green Dell card, bought it from aliexpress for $133usd in around august, only just got around to installing it yesterday.
2: I have not flashed a VBIOS onto it. (maybe i could try that with a proper bios and see if that fixes it?)
3: im using the firepro M5100 heatsink that my machine came with.

Hello Boris would you have any insight on how to install the adrenalin drivers on the wx? When I had the m5100 in I could install 2 sets of drivers either the pro or adrenalin. With the adrenalin it would recognize the card as an R9 m290x but I have had no luck installing them on the wx. Installation fails to detect a supported card which is annoying as they have more options.

Also msi afterburner is locked down and does not allow any undervolting or overclocking in the slightest on the wx - my thinking is the drivers which are dell tailored are on some kind of blacklist. I am using version 20.q4 from the official site. https://www.amd.com/en/support/prof...-pro-wx-x100-mobile-series/radeon-pro-wx-4150

So, your config should work from the box without any problems. But it dont work. Maybe you have defective GPU (WX4150) and because card set in bag for a few months you cant get your money back. I dont know, what to suggest. Maybe you should buy HP Blue Card from USA for 60$ and flash prober vBIOS to it, like i did?

No problem, but i suggest you to read my previous post: http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...-gpu-be-upgraded.792187/page-36#post-11037313

For any help from my side you need to provide some information:
    1) What display you have? LVDS or EDP?
    2) If EDP, what display's resolution? 1080p, 1800p, 2160p?

Looks to be LVDS from when I once asked, display is 1080p IPS. The card was a green dell version plug and play with 0 issues whatsoever.

I noticed you linked a driver in it from the dell site - is that the better one I should be using? Theres also another set of drivers that Alex posted after your comment in the previous post link (downloaded as amd.zip).
Looks like using afterburner to muck around is out of the question now (lack any experience or equipment to edit a vBIOS), but my main goal is to get some better drivers tbh

No, if you say that you have IPS display, there only one option for connection - EDP.
About drivers - you can try it. I'm using exactly that version on because of my 4K IPS screen, and newer drivers wont work normally with this screen - image will randomly freeze every 20-30 seconds. But you should keep in mind that this version is 2016 year, and they are old.
But, I'm tried use newest drivers and I didn' got any performance difference between 2016 and 2020 drivers for WX4150.

On your setup with 1080p - just enable switchable graphics on in BIOS settings and use any drivers.

Adrenaline Drivers wont install until you flash Mobile RX560 vBIOS on your WX4150 (100% compatible), but i didnt noticed any difference in performance, so I stay with WX4150 Dell Modded by me vBIOS + 2016 Pro Driver.

You cant overlock, undervolt WX4150 by MSI Afterburner because of driver lock =)
But you can flash modded vBIOS to GPU, I'm now using modded by me, with 1050 Mhz Core- 0.840 V Core - 1500 Mhz Mem - 0.750 V Mem - +10% Power limit in MSI Afterburner - Temp 77 C Max in Wticher 3.
If you want, I can send vBIOS to you, buy at your own risk +)

For flashing vBIOS to HP GPU, all what you need, is cheap CH341A programmer and another computer.
    Yes, vBIOS chip is 8-pin.
