4700 is on order for me. Going to have my M4600 go to our new guy who starts in a few weeks. I don't think he will mind.

I really want to get a M6700 with an IPS screen, but being forced to get the NVIDIA® Quadro® K5000M is killing it, I could go for a lower end video card for a much lower price if possible...

Looking at all the models, it just seems they only have the
    AMD FirePro M6000 Mobility Pro 2GB GDDR5
    NVIDIA Quadro K5000M 4GB GDDR5

regardless of what options you select, so both the:
    NVIDIA Quadro K3000M 2GB GDDR5
    NVIDIA Quadro K4000M 4GB GDDR5

are probably going to be added sooner than later.

Why is the IPS screen not possible with FirePro M6000 ? I tried configuring it with FirePro but it gives this error. Strange !

Will purchase a M6700 Covet in near future. Tried a quick spec job, almost all items top of line and came up with a cost
of $9,785. Only ? is that I saw a note that the beautiful red Covet is "coming soon". Anyone know when it is expected.

Swapping the keyboard is fairly easy, just follow the manual. It doesn't affect the warranty. As for the HP8770w, it's a great machine but at this point it lacks quite a bit of features compared to the M6700.

Was there any accessories you left out?:p
I actually preferred the Orange, but anything other than battleship gray is an improvement.
As it should be. This primary interface device should always be a snap to change.

When ordered my M6700 Covet last evening, the Estimated Delivery Date was 9/6/2012. Not what I was hoping to hear, but with any luck maybe it'll arrive sooner.
