Still might be possible. That document is for the M4600/M6600. We don't know if the Keplers bring anything new to the table in this area yet.

But, I believe the IPS has been available with the ATI card for a while now (though it wasn't at first).

You can have the ATI with IPS. Was made available a few months ago.

Just noticed that dell has an updated broadcom UHS driver where the release notes indicate compatibility with the M4700 & M6700 so maybe we are getting close to some official info.

Thanks for posting that quote, I wouldn't have seen the post over there. He's obviously being a bit conservative with his language in terms of setting a specific timeline expectation, but it does seem reasonable to believe that the new Precision models are more than a month away from shipping.

Of course, we all knew that all of the other models would refresh before Precision. :p

Spoke to an HP rep, he said the 8770w becomes fully configurable mid July. It's either the Dell m6700 or the HP for me. Can't see a reason to wait for the Dell if they drag their heels on this. Maybe if they announced thunderbolt... Yeah, I'd wait for that:D

Yeah, it's between these two for me as well. Lean towards the 8770w.
