Looks like 3 usb 3.0 ports and one usb 2.0. The xps has room for an msata sad and a 2.5" drive which would be nice. Supposedly, the xps offers a battery slice for extended life, and AC wifi.

Looks like the only difference would be the quadro graphics in the m3800.

The spec sheet for the XPS 15 says that the battery is not replaceable by the user. I would expect the same to be the case for the M3800. I still think it's debatable what this means. The battery in the XPS 13 is described the same way, but that model has in the past had a serviceable battery. We already knew that one would need to remove the chassis bottom to get to the battery. When I first read the spec sheet I feared that the battery would be glued, but the XPS 13 sheet restored hope that it might just be attached with screws.

Hands on Dell's Awesome New XPS 11, XPS 13, XPS 15

    Oh no..........

The re-branding game has reached the Laptop. -1 for Dell. My guess is the only difference will be the K1100 vs GT750. If the price difference is mroe than 200$ i cant imagine anyone going for the quadro. Real die hard Apps wont be that great on the K1100 anyway and for most programs like Rhino, 3DS max and autocad the GT750 will be fine.

Dell has probably added "reliability salsa" for the Precision to be much sturdier and stouter than the XPS. ;)

Wouldn't be surprised if there are a few other differences to differentiate the Precision from the XPS. Support for the WiGig dock seems like a likely example.

Where do you find the spec sheet? I don't see it on their site or in those articles.

The XPS 15 have RJ 45? and 3800 don't have one, thats is kind of sad ...

I have a feeling that is a typo.

For wigig dock, theoretically, any machine with a mpcie slot can use it.
