I believe Tweakers said that there will be a regular hard drive option in addition to SSD. If that's true, there's gotta be a standard 2.5" drive bay in there somewhere, so you should be able to install any SSD you want.

Can anybody link to some GPU benchmarks for this machine? I can't seem to find any for the new Quadro K1100m.

You probably won't find any quite yet. I'm not aware of anywhere that the new mobile Quadros are available.

Check out the benchmarks of K2000M to get an idea of how K1100M performs, they're both similar.

This, but for benchmarks on the real thing, you'll have to wait.

I have been told that it is a faster Quadro version of the 750M. Performance *should* be in the Quadro 4000M - 5010M range depending on the application. Should also be close to the K3000M.

    Good point!

This laptop is so tiny ( for a 15" ) that I fear it won't have an mSATA slot. However, if I can have a 1TB SSD in it, then I won't need mSATA.

Might I inquire as to where you heard this? If the GPU performance is similar 750m or higher, I'm pretty much sold. I don't think any other slim/light, super high res, quad core, dGPU machines are going to come out in the immediate future.

Disappointment is understandable, but disgust and similar strong emotions are wasted on a consumer product.

The only thing that matters is whether or not you buy the product. It's the only thing that manufacturers would listen to, so why waste energy on getting pissed about these things?
