Let's wait till the M4800/6800 are announced. Same goes for Elitebooks, I sure hope they put up a good fight with their DreamColor screens and solid build quality. I'm still hoping to get a powerful machine to last me long enough to skip all the ultra-crap nonsense and go straight to wearable computing (when it matures in 4-5 years).

Perhaps, but its a good indication of things to come. Consider the likeness of the Precision line. If this is the baby, then the parents must be pretty gaudy as well. Recall HPs workstation update? Gawd I hate chiclet.

Looking at your sig, you have no reason to worry. There's nothing special about Haswell really and you can upgrade your GPU down the road. I'm actually looking for good deals on M6700 at the moment.

I doubt that Dell would offer a hybrid-style keyboard like those of last year's Precisions and Latitudes in the new Alienwares only to offer chiclet keyboards for this year's Precision m4800/m6800.

Besides, the new Latitude E6540 has a similar keyboard to the E6530.

This, I would be freaking out if it weren't for the fact that the new Latitudes I have seen all seem to be sporting the usual keyboard with the trackpoint and all.

No, it's about 72% adobe RGB. Hopefully M4800/6800 will have at least 100% adobe RGB

USB 3 dock. :( (if Tweakers is to be believed), hello bandwidth issues with multiple displays and peripherals. USB3.0 is by no means "slow", but let's just say that we won't be driving dual or triple high res monitors with it. The form factor remains great for portability, but a true docking port would have enabled for a killer setup at the office with a quick eject for when you want to be on the go. The M3800 is looking more and more like a portable only (well, almost) solution.
