Made an RMA with Dell and got my TB15 swapped to TB16 docks so far. Haven't had any issues up until now, so very happy with their service.

Have you tested it already? Have the 16.4590 problems been resolved?

I haven't had any problems since I installed it (but I wasn't having any problems with the previous driver either).

Dell have released a 5510 BIOS 1.2.25 which addresses the Intel Management Engine vulnerability. This is ahead of the schedule here.

There are also various other driver updates for the 5510 including a Thunderbolt driver marked "urgent".

I have purchased Samsung 960 Pro 2TB NVMe drive to replace my old 950 Pro 512 Gig drive that I had originally bought for my 5510 when I bought it as I was running out of space all the time.

I am installing Windows 7 Pro using the newly released ISO available from the driver download page of the DELL website which has both the USB 3.0 and also Microsoft Native NVMe drivers installed. That makes the installation of Windows 7 a breeze compared to when I had originally bought the 5510.

However, the performance of the Microsoft NVMe drivers are very generic and are not at all in line with the Crystal Disk and other benchmarks attained from the same drive by others. So I searched the net for Samsung NVMe drivers which can be loaded during the installation of Windows 7 but I was not successful. The only ones that I did manage to find are not signed and as such cannot be used during the installation process. Oddly enough this is despite the website's claim to the contrary.

I was wondering if anyone has a clue as to where I could find the signed Samsung NVMe drivers for the 960 Pro NVMe SSD on the internet?

    Any help is much appreciated

    Thanks

Will this help? Read all the thread, including the need to have the access mode in the BIOS set to AHCI.

Thank you so much for the link, but sadly it is not what I am looking for. The link you provided links to the same executable driver installation which is available on the Samsung website. I am however looking for the .inf, .sys and .cat driver files instead.
