I've just received my 5510 a few days ago. It keeps getting BSOD or freeze randomly and can't wake from sleep. I've tried install the latest BIOS version (.18), clean install Windows 10 (in AHCI or SATA disabled), install Samsung SSD driver for 950 Pro, update the latest driver of Quadro, but non of the worked.

My specs: Xeon E3, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD, FullHD

I would suggest starting with a memory diagnostics. I received a 5510 with a bad RAM module last year and it displayed behavior like this. Maybe your memory is fine, but this is an easy thing to check first and if it does come back with an error then you have a good starting point.

MemTest86 is probably the most exhaustive diagnostics tool, but Windows 10 has one built in that you can kick off (just type "memory" in the Start Menu search), or you can use the one built into the motherboard by selecting it from the menu that you get while hitting F12 at boot.

 

After the test, my memory has no problem.
Should I reinstall Windows in RAID? It is the only thing that I could probably think about because it's the default option in BIOS. Does it decrease the SSD performance?

 

Performance should be pretty much the same, I believe, people have reported good speeds with Windows running in RAID mode. We have had BSOD issues with NVMe drives on the 5510 with the BIOS set to "AHCI" mode, but in every case this was resolved by installing the Samsung NVMe driver.

 

After installing Samsung driver, there is no more BSOD but my system randomly freezes, just not showing the BSOD. I'm installing Windows in RAID now and will report in a few hours.

Edit: The performance, just like you said, is pretty much the same. No more BSOD.

Yeah, I have issues with the space bar not registering clicks and squeaking bad at times.

 

Has anyone used Microsoft Display Adapter v2 with this Dell? Cannot make them connect at all.

 

We got a Precision 5510 with a Toshiba 512GB SSD ( THNSN5512GPUK ) in NVMe mini PCIe format and the performance on the SSD is dead slow. Boot up takes about a HDD and shutdown takes at least 3 minutes. Windows 7 x64.

Running thru AS SSD the write scores are horrible.

Besides the SSD this also has a 1TB HDD. The OS is installed on the SSD. I believe it is a driver issue.

Help?
