Bios A06 for Vostro 1500 released

    The strange thing is, I was getting that message intermittently prior to the A07 BIOS update. It also happened immediately right after the A07 update. So far so good.

    I'll be keeping an eye out for any more weird stuff.

    Oh. OK. My system came with the previuos latest BIOS, and I never got the message before. If it starts to happen intermittently with this one, I'm going to rollback.

    Is it normal for the BIOS POST progress bar to be slow after a BIOS upgrade?

    Or if you shut off the laptop during POST and then turn it back on. ;)

    Does the A06 version include all other version corrections and fixes or would one have to install all the earlier revisions to get up to speed?

    Yes it does and that goes for any BIOS upgrade.

    How do you roll back to previous version? Media Buttons are freezing the laptop after the "upgrade"..
