I had 2000M with M4600. That overclocked a good 40%. And I thought that was good... New nvidia chips are crazy.

Please let me know when you oc. Use nvidia inspector for memory clocks and systools for core clocks.

oc core first, then exit out systools, then oc with nvidia inspector. for some reason I cant oc core clock with inspector. NOt sure if it is a settings issue.

I am wondering how I can pull so much with just stock voltage. I am 100% sure that no 470m or 570m can oc as close as this even with increased voltage.

Is it the drivers or the architecture or the top pick themselves that make these cards oc really well? I remember that Quadro FX 1800M barely pulled like 20% oc.

Nice OC. That score is almost identical to what I get with my M8900 at 825/1125 (3714).

was that max oc you could pull for the M8900? I am surprised to see that the AMD chip has some serious raw power

I haven't played with it too much but I'm pretty sure that's about it for the core clock w/o any additional voltage. Haven't had any issues with RAM but I haven't tried any higher clocks as of yet.

I pushed one to 850/1100 before. However on average, they are more at 800/1000.

I use Nvidia System Tools for overclocking and monitoring since it integrates nicely with the main Nvidia Control Panel. It can be found here.

Yes systool works well. but you need nvidia inspector as mem clocks are very limited with systool
