    Hi guys,

I would like to take advantage of this post to ask your help to get the Media Direct CD .iso. I bought my Vostro 1500 from a resaller, but he never gave me the CD and when I tried to ask for it to Dell i was stuck because they asked to do the transference of property, and the guys where i bought it didn't help me with the data to complete it.

So I will thanks a lot if any of you could share your MD CD. I have downloaded several versions of MD but those are for Inspiron or XPS and when trying to install it I receive the error "This system is not supported by this Reinstallatin DVD".

Thanks all in advance for your help

I'd love to help, but I don't even know if I have the disc anymore, ever since my first "clean install" I've never bothered with it.

    Have you tried the torrents?

Yes I did, and it is where i downloaded the versions of Media Direct I have but none of them are for Vostro.

Is it possible of any of the Vostro 1500 owners could upload this for me?? I know it is a hard work, but is the only option I have.

I have spoken with Dell and as my waranty period has expired they asked me to buy one more year of support to be able to send it to me.
