Any one knows where can I find service manuals that describes, how to replace ram, HD, CPU, etc. I can see the HD is very easy to access, but if feel safter if I can find a manual on how to do it, since I am not sure how the HD is fixed there? Thanks.

About 2 to 2.5 hrs. Does your charger adapter heat up when charging over 45 mins?

hey max, mine doesn't heat up at all, i usually take out the battery though wehn i'm plugged in to preserve the battery and to avoid heating it since that 'll reduce the life of the lithium ion battery. do u guys find the fan not too annoying but it turning on and off more annoying?

np, do you have the 6 cell or the 9? Maybe that somehow accounts for charger heat, who knows. Yeah, the fan activity is a little erratic, but I don't find it annoying at all - unless I'm in a very quiet setting, I don't even notice it when it's on.

that's true, the problem is, i am in a quiet setting, and i have the 9 cell one...and i'm running windows 7, on power saver mode it says that i can get 7 hours of battery life which would be ideal. has anybody tried out the webcam?

Received Dell Vostro 1320 P8600 and 4 G of RAM today. Wanted Vista 64. I specifically asked the sales rep for Vista 64, but the package contained 32 bit. No additionall media for 64.

I did call Customer Support, but they gave me really hard time. After several rounds and ping-pong between India and USA(?) or Canada, contacting tech support, and escalating to some manager, they advised me to reach that sales agent, or return the HW to them. The sales agent was chronically unavailable on the phone, and I ended up emailing him, no response in 3 hours. Will see what'll happen tomorrow.

Funny thing though: DELL have all necessary Vista 64 bit drivers on their web site.

It gets warm but not really hot hot. I almost never let it anywhere near my lap though, so take that w/ a grain of salt.
