Anyone else's E series Moved to the "shipping" stage?

Yes, my E6500 has been at pre-production for a week, and scheduled to stay there for another week too, I think the GMA X4500 is the item slowing it down, still hoping it will get here before the scheduled 29th Sept.

 

I got my wish, it went to testing...now for shipping...

 

If it's being boxed right now, is there a chance it gets shipped sometime this week or early next weeK?

 

Awesome! Congrats! I did not order till the 20th so maybe I am just 6 days behind you. I go to Vegas this weekend and get back on Monday so maybe it will land at my IT dept by Tuesday morning.

Woohoo! Just got the email that my E6400 shipped today. As long as DHL doesn't lose it I should have it tomorrow!

 

That's great! How long was it in boxing stage?

 

It went into the boxing stage on Monday, so two days which is actually pretty fast for Dell. I'd guess they probably have a lot of these E series laptops built and ready to ship so they are shipping out containers faster then normal.

 

Just got a call from my IT dept and I guess our Dell rep called and said that my E6500 should ship next week.

He did say he could not promise anything becuase they are WAY backed up on the Latitude's. I think it must be the orders with the 9 cell battery becuase I keep hearing that people are getting their computer but they all say they ordered the 6 cell battery.

I ordered it on Aug. 20th so I guess if I have it in my hands by Sept. 12th or 15th I really cant complain
