My 95% gamut screen was a huge let down. It has some stains which are visible in black backgrounds. Ever since I've had a computer I've used a full black desktop background, farewell to that. Do not upgrade your screen or you might get this really bad experience.

Not a common thing to happen in the least, only the second one of these I've heard of that had the issue from what I recall. Just contact the reseller and ask for it to be fixed.

I connected to external display with 1440*900 resolution. And it's blurry. It used to be sharp with my old laptop. I'm using windows 8. Any way to fix it?

 Sager is finally selling the new NP7355, latest Clevo lineup. Not yet listed on reseller's sites yet..about time tho. So anyone planning to get the NP7352, should wait up and get the new model I guess. This might change the tide in 765m laptop sales on the average gaming consumer market.

Still waiting on the details of the machine but likely to only be the keyboard that is different. Probably be put up on our site this weekend sometime, or Monday when we actually open back up the office.

It would require the Hardware power connection for the backlit and that is lacking in the 7352. You could likely physically install the new keyboard, but you wouldn't be able to get the backlit to work.

    Hi all!

I'm considering to buy a W355ST, and since it's basically a W350ST with backlit keyboard, I'd like to ask to the owners if when you're playing some demanding games for a while (Far Cry 3, etc.) the CPU throttles down to stock clock (stops using turbo boost) and the frame rate drops, or you can play as long as you want without noticing anything. The thing is in the review of notebookcheck, when they do the stress test the CPU throttles to 800Mhz, and I'm wondering if that happens with the newest demanding games. Even if it goes from 3.4Ghz with turbo boost to 2.4Ghz (stock clock), it has to be noticeable, right?

    Thank you very much!

Sager seems to have reduced the base CPU while keeping the price the same......so now it costs 75$ extra for the i7 4700m that was in the 7352 as the base. :(

Sager did change most of the mid range computers form an i7 to an i5 as the default CPU but the price did go down at the same time.
I checked for a few people who had orders in process when this happened and they were asking for the new lower price not realizing the CPU changed. When I checked on their orders and how much it would be with the new pricing but upgrading the i5 to i7 it was the same price as they paid.

Yep they reduced the base price and config in case you want a lower end CPU instead. More choice and the same value.

I have the 7352 and its always running 3.2 to 3.4 depending on how many cores are being used. I have yet to run something on this that caused it to throttle. I assume the 7355 will be the same

And of course this get released literaly like a month and a half after I bought my 7352. The non backlit keyboard on the 7352 is literaly like my only gripe with this laptop, especially since the fan problems have been fixed completly (at least for me) with latest EC/Bios. oh well

They're always out to get ya with releasing new stuff! There are still people out there that don't care about the backlit keyboard and wanting to buy the 7352, so if you're motivated to do so, could always list it for sale and see what you can get out of it.

Ehh, I actually really like my 7352. It wouldn't be worth it (for me at least) to go through the trouble, just for the keyboard. In the month and a half or so since I've had the laptop I haven't actually come across a situation where I would of really needed a backlit keyboard. The screen is actually bright enough to lite up the keyboard just fine. Plus, according to the notebook check review they actually liked the w350st better than the 355, I guess the 355st runs hotter too (and their review unit had the i5 instead of the i7)

Quick question, I'm looking at the Sager NP7370, however I would like to have a backlit keyboard. Do you know if the 7370 will receive a simliar update as the 7352?

    Thanks!

Probably no refresh because it already has an illuminated keyboard ;)

Edit: Totally misread your post. No planned update to the 7370 as far as I know. Thought you had said the 7330. Too early, not enough coffee.

Completely worth it in my opinion. You get the ability to use an AC wireless signal, less drops, and better reception.

Same as asking a choice between new and old gen. Go always for the new gen, as old gen will take you back 10 yrs!

Anyways there are also many tech reviews for these cards online. AC = N 3X

Along the same lines as above. Price difference between the two is nearly negligible and you get the added performance of the AC networks. 7260 is basically the same as the 6235 with the added support of the AC band.

    i just updated the bios and ec to 1.03.01 from Index van ./Notebooks (Drivers)/15CL58 - 17CL58 (W350ST - W370ST)/Bios/
however, now my bootlogo has changed from "style note" to "bto computers". not really that big a deal, but I would like to change it back. Have been searching online but i can't find a way to do it without reflashing the bios, anyone know of a way to do it? or can help me out?

    Hi guys,

we continued our efforts to deliver EC updates for Clevo machines with improved fan control. Today we give you the most current EC with Win 8.1 support and our improved fan table for the following models:
    - W350STQ
    - W355STQ
    - W370ST

Our improved EC is known to eliminate the "sudden burst" many customers experienced when running day-to-day tasks with medium load. We tried to create a smoother fan curve so the fan behaviour gets less annoying.
We would like to have your feedback on this EC. You can safely flash our EC to your machine (no matter what reseller), provided you indeed have one of the 3 models mentioned above. You don't need a special BIOS for this to work - just flashing the EC will do the trick!

    Download link:
    http://mysn.de/driver/XMG/XMG_A503_A523_und_A723/BIOS/W3xxST_EC_1.03.01TRa.zip

Disclaimer: please note - this EC works only with the Clevo W3xxST series - not with the ET series. Please consider the common pre-cautions when doing EC and BIOS updates. We cannot be held responsible if anything goes wrong.

    We appreciate your feedback!

Hello people, i want to ask about the temps for the W355ST with the IC diamond TP..
what are the MAX CPU and GPU temps, i saw in the internet that it is 71° for the GPU but i still dont know about the cpu..
Should I take the W370ST (and lose the backlight keyboard) in order to have lower temps ? (I live in a very hot country (40° in the summer)..
I'm wondering, does the W370ST it come with a cover in case you dont keep the battery in..

I will be buying a Clevo W355ST or W350ST from one of UK resellers really soon but I do have two question, which I hope some of you can answer.

    1. What does the 'VGA' button do? I heard it mentioned in few reviews but have yet to hear from someone how it works.
    2. Can anyone compare this laptop's keyboard with the apple keyboard? I need to get a pc so I can work on app development outside uni labs, but I need a comfortable keyboard and as a mac user for almost 4 years I got really used to them.

RTFM... we've all been there :)

It got me the first time I saw laptops starting to use that LED indicator. I think of it as when the light is green you're going green and saving energy.
