You won't find anything, no reviews, no owners, no nothings, only Xoticpc and panther 2.0 video clips -

So is this standard practice in the laptop world? They say the have released a new product but really it's not quite ready to buy at all?
-
^^^ Welcome to the real world, m8!

The machine is ready but the parts for it are another story ..
-
Speedy Gonzalez Xtreme Notebook Speeder!
i would say The parts are History
-
Quick we have released a new laptop, buy now!! Unfortunately it doesn't have a monitor yet! Lol -
Yeah without trying to be a jerk about the whole situation my take on it is that Sager was not expecting to sell more then a dozen machines with SLI in them, i guess they were wrong by a long shot...
-
Speedy Gonzalez Xtreme Notebook Speeder!
you have to be a comedian but what you say has some truth
-
I'm not being a jerk, I've got more patience than most, heck my laptop takes over 10 mins to start.
I'm just curious how it all works, I seen a page showing G73JW orders and the long wait they had, I was just wondering if it was standard practice? -
Speedy Gonzalez Xtreme Notebook Speeder!
No body call you a jerk we think all the situation is funny that's all
-
I'd say, this is far better than the normal practice.
I waited for 1 month to get the M17X from the moment of ordering and 3 months to get the 8740w.... -
What happens with the warranty if you brick your M/B with a Bios update? What happens to your warranty if you screw your system by over clocking it, even though you have brought an over clocking CPU (980x) and they have supplied software to do it??? -
Hrm...I sound like Nibbler now -
-
When people bricked their PSP others brought them off them for like $20 bucks and unbricked them in two minutes.. How bricked is bricked?

Just have them on the phone to walk you through it, that way you are safe usually
-
BIOS update on normal machines is ok, i mean only the x7200 nator bought cannot do that....
-
What makes nator's not normal? is there different models of x7200? -

^^^^There are early demos and other pre-release x7200 out there. That we do know.

avadirect just bought mine there a few days ago, cheaper than xoticpc (actually cancelled mine beause of it) and they have the HDMI-INput. And way more customizable options. Shipping was expensive to Afghanistan though lol... also it seems from avadirect, the Clevo version has a LED LCD unlilke Sager's FHD LCD. And it doesn't have that lame Sager logo on the back of the LCD (or eurocom) instead it has its own design.
-
Does anyone know if the third HDD bay (under the Battery) is able to take the 1TB HDD? They are 12.5mm the standard drives are 9.5mm. (Eurocom Panther 2.0 are advertising the possibility of 4TB of HDD so they must be offering 4 of these).

<<<< BTW, here is a Notebookcheck review of x7200! -
Just got a call from Xotic PC. Sager has the SLI parts in stock and is building the machine. Maybe I will see it by the end of next week.

Yes in the first half of October many, many here on the forum and elsewhere will have their x7200! Stock is expected to be FULL for these SLI versions for the forseable future after this and next week...

That review makes the X7200 not that impressive as the GTX 285M SLi system they compared it to isn't too far off, and that is using a 920XM too. Could be a driver thing...

i would like to know what combinations of HDDs i can put in this, i plan on either putting two 1TBs and an SSD or raid SSDs and have just one 1TB. but do all drive bays fit the 1TBs 12.5mm thickness?
-
-
Reviews results are just horrible - I understand this is pre-release model but the same one local resellers are shipping to first customers. Damn I am so pissed. Laptop has switched of under full stressing which is what I was worried about.
