    The system freezes up during a sleep event or something in linux. I have checked journalctl for errors but I can only find my hard power off event and not a crash or a freeze. If I walk away for about 45 min the keyboard will still be doing its dancing leds but the system is frozen. I have all "known" sleep power settings turned off.

    When the laptop is flipped over and open, its on the right side - single slot labeled something like "for rkt lake cpu only", since the slot only works with 11th gen CPU slotted

    Is there any modified clevo control center app without the faulty cpu overclock in it ,it makes throttlestop useless and causes bsod all the time..it doesnt help just deinstall it after led adjustment,xtu services remain in the system and the lightbar is still active

    i know ,there is a step by step instruction to get rid of the cpu overclock part but a modified ccc would be easier

    Does anyone know how a reseller can become a Prema Partner? The retailer where I bought the notebook (X170KM-G, i9-11900K, GeForce RTX 3080 - 16GB) would like to become a Prema partner but he can't find the contacts :(

    Does this laptop have Advanced Optimus or MuX? If not, the display is connected directly to the dGPU or default hybrid (which has to pass
    through iGPU to dGPU)? And what if i use 11900KF? The Prema Mod actually changes something for this cases?

    Sorry for many questions, but i think people should care more about it.

    None Clevo with LGA and MXM have iGPU. Not even power phases/lanes for it. Can't be better than this.

    You could power it on without the cover and use your ear over it to localise the sound.

    If you can play wit fan RPM then try doing that and see if it has any effect on the sound, if it does then it is the fan bearing.

    Anyone that owns this able to procure a QHD display or know of a compatible one that works with it ( aftermarket ) ? Definitely interested in grabbing this if the option is there, I heard mention of a QHD 165hz/144hz.

    I would say probably 6 months after the release of Alder Lake. It takes a significant amount of time for laptop manufacturers to adapt new CPUs unto their designs.

    Okay guys. Need some help/advice/tips/tricks
    I just received my laptop from XOTICPC and it has issues.
    I am asking here because if I can fix it and avoid returning it [again (more below)], I'd like to keep this one and not have to wait LONGER.

    /****************************************************************************/
    I power the computer on. BAM!! BSOD "Memory Management" error.
    It'll auto-restart and that boot will be successful ("warm boot" or "soft boot" never an issue).
    Once in windows, I shut down, wait for it to shut down. Count to 20 just cuz. Power the computer... BAM!! BSOD.
    It'll auto-restart and that boot will be successful ("warm boot" or "soft boot" never an issue).
    Once in windows, I'll open a file on my desktop.
    I click the start button and click "sleep"
    Once the computer is asleep, wait another 5-10 seconds, just cuz, and press the power button to wake it.
    This will start the computer, I can hear the blowout fan, and once it has started I have no files or folders open, therefore I know the computer fully restarted. (closing & opening the lid has the same "sleep" effect with the same results.)

    /****************************************************************************/
    My build:
    I7-11700K
    32 GB RAM (2x16Gb)
    144HZ, MATTE / NVIDIA® GEFORCE® RTX™ 3070 8GB GDDR6
    2TB XOTIC PC Certified M.2 GEN 4 NVMe SSD (**I've been reading the Gen 4 is unnecessary here**)
    1TB Samsung 980 PRO M.2 GEN 4 NVMe SSD (**OS Drive**)
    500GB Samsung 980 PCIe 3.0 NVMe Gaming SSD x2

    /****************************************************************************/
    I've removed and reseated my RAM
    I've run Window Memory Diagnostic tool with "No Issues Found"
    Device Manager reads 32Gb RAM (so both sticks detected properly).

    Followed these instructions to remove XTU (used Revo and Autoruns to remove/disable any xtu leftovers)
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...2m-owners-lounge.835639/page-63#post-11095894
    Also, uninstalled CPU Overclock & GPU Overclock as mentioned in the post
    Still have upgraded CCC3 (v.3.43 Apr28) installed for LED & Fan control.
    Uninstalled CCC3.

    FYI, this is the SECOND version of this laptop that I've purchased with the above specs that had BSOD boot issues.
    I returned the first for credit and purchased the second, thinking "Second Times the Charm".

    What ticks me off the MOST... It was easy to find... just turn it off... then turn it on... BOOM!! BSOD!!
    Is anyone checking these things?

    I'm not super concerned about overclocking this thing... If that's not an option I'm okay with that...
    I would like to maintain control of both CPU/GPU Fans. (LEDs if I can also).

    Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    TIA

    I don't see it mentioned anywhere, but have you tried disabling the overclocking function from within the BIOS? I had very similar BSOD issues when I first got my system, and so far haven't found a way to keep the system stable even with no overclocking if overclocking is enabled from the BIOS. Not sure if this will help as I would receive watchdog timeout errors, not memory errors, but may be worth a shot.

    Yes Windows Pre installed. (see below)
    Let me know if you have any ideas about the sleep/hibernate issue or touchpad issue and if I should/could still PM for assistance.

    Meaker@Sager : Both sticks checked out. Removed one and booted, swapped and booted, tried second DIMM slot... Same issue (see below)

    Celeste Wolfe: I did *not* try disabling OC in the BIOS. Will give it a try though, might be affecting my sleep/hibernate issue.

    BUT!!!! I did get the boot BSODs to stop by disabling "Fast Startup" in Windows | Power Options

    Sleep/Hibernate still have the crashing issue, so going to tackle those for now.

    And can't turn off the touchpad... LOL... (its the only Fn (pun intended) key combo that doesn't work)
    I know... I know... First World Problems...
