If I remember correctly so can't None of Clevo DM1 models out of the box support eGPU with stock firmvare.
But I think @bloodhawk Have a solution so eGPU(Razer Core) can work. No one has tried it fully out if I remember correctly.
As you said... No upgradable graphics don't always mean you can't replace failed graphics with a new one without a fully motherboard change... Only BGA graphics need a motherboard replacement. Therefore is BGA a unwanted criminal crippled Crazy failed hardware solution!! Only the ODM/OEM's earn on this technology. Not the buyers!! Normally much easier to obtain new/used graphics than the motherboard if your graphics card failed after the warranty have expired. A lot of people haven't a maxed expensive warranty. A lot easier and less expensive for not so tech savvy people to replace a failed graphics than the whole motherboard  Paying tech to do the job because you have 10 thumbs isn't cheap :D

Razer Core works with the stock firmware as well. I will post my results tomorrow using another TB3 device.

So the razer core works with the dm3 out of the box? This is great news.
How do you choose which gpu is used? ie. internal or external.

You could also use the m.2 slot for the egpu. It has the same speed since both are connected via dmi to the cpu.

    Not the DM3, the DM1.
And im not the one who tested it. Linus from LinusTechTips did it. After this test said it work, i stopped trying to acquire one, since it way too expensive and not really worth the cost.

Im just doing these tests atm, because ill be using the GPU in my desktop rig in a few months.

Im going to upload to youtube, twitch didn't save the past broadcast automatically, but I have everything recorded locally.
Took me 4 hours to go over everything, test thermals and performance, dissemble heatsink, apply liquid metal, and re-test lol.
Btw liquid metal decreased my CPU temp by 25 degree, GPU around 5 degree. The origin IC diamond application is quite bad, thick and over-spread...
anyway follow my thread here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/ordered-eurocom-sky-x4e2-p750dm2-g.796273/ , Im updating everything there.

How can you say that? Even without delid could @Mr. Fox decrease temp a notch with liquid metal when he reviewed Sky X9. But of course delided will shrink temp further down :D

25C sounds a bit too much of an improvement unless there was a bad paste job in the first place.

25c sounds about right if you use LM on IHS and between die and IHS

Don't use razor, use a delid tool. The PCB of skylake is too thin to endure a vice / razor method.

Razor blade works fantastic... did it three times... quick and easy, no fuss. Like anything else, doing things in a haphazard manner is never a good idea.

Well, Eurocom just shipped my new p750dm2. After weeks of searching for the best deal, they were by far the most reasonable. My config was the 4k Samsung, 6700 (non-k), 16gb (free upgrade to HyperX), 1070, Intel 8260, no drives, no os. Total after 10% student discount: $1564.40 I purchased a 128GB sm951 nvme (99.00) and a 1TB Mushkin Reactor (227.00) separately. Bought a win10 home key (27.00) for a grand total of 1917.40. Oh, I almost forgot bank charged me a 44.00 International fee for using my bankcard for an out of country purchase, so 1961.40.

I'll check back in and give my thoughts once it arrives, I kinda noticed there aren't many reviews out there for this model.

Yeah I think I'm getting around 25C with LOW fan speed 'automatic' profile when stress test CPU, stress test FPU yield a around 10C temp drop and no more throttling.

Waiting for premamod for this laptop... default Bios has not much in it, and default EC has terrible fan profile... fan speed increase is NOT smooth, with the shakly high pitch fan noise at high fan speed, it is just terrible. Also sometimes the fan will speed up for like 0.5 second when boot up(before post), then return back to low speed...

IMO if the power throttle can be solved by new BIOS, and fan profile can be solved by new EC, I will be quite satisfied by my purchase....

Eurocom has said my P775dm3 should be in tomorrow. It's been a looong wait.

I'm the 'leave it as it is' kind of user. I won't even open it up. So once I optimize the operating system and fiddle with software I'll do some basic firestrike tests and post the scores with temps. With normal fans. And with func +1

Touchpad of P775 is pure love <3.

Generally I have touchpads and avoid them. This one is only love. Buttons too. Amazing feel for touchpad buttons.

Sometimes it's the small things that make the experience worthwhile.

After hearing some rather unsavoury stuff about Schenker's build quality (missing parts, terribad paste jobs), I'm gonna order mine through EvolutionX. Another cheapskate reseller, but they do offer actual barebones configurations, so I can order just the chassis with a GPU, and all the other parts separately, and do the assembly myself.

Thanks for the review mate! I feel a bit confused however because it seems like i've seen a few reviews of the AU B173ZAN01.0 2A screen now and they all show different response times. The review above has 28ms GTG which while poor is a far cry better than the 39ms GTG shown here http://www.notebookcheck.net/Schenker-XMG-U727-Clevo-P870DM3-G-Notebook-Review.173957.0.html .

Does anyone with more experience know why these are all showing different rates? I'm looking to buy one of these very soon but still tossing up over which screen option to select.

Despite my mishap with Mythlogic and my battery, they're very responsive (even their online chat thing is really good!), their part selection is great (I don't know anyone else offering the Plextor 1TB M8Pe, for example), and from what I've seen their prices are totally competitive.

Went through the review by NBC. Clearly, clearly needs an undervolt and a better paste (job).

And, for god's sake, unrealistic tests give unrealistic results. They provide inappropriate comparisons to OC or gaming. You want to hear how loud different people scream when you torture them? Sure, by all means go ahead. Does that make any one of them better or poorer people? No. Does that show how loud or soft in real life? Maybe, but probably not.

Firstly they measure GTGTG (grey to grey to grey) and these values are very hard to properly test.

Initial impressions after my first night with it.

It's big and heavy, that's for sure.
Beautiful, smooth finish rather than the rubbery texture of p770.
I had a heck of a time with Windows 10.. It was pre-installed by Eurocom but the sign in options still don't work and many other glitches.

It sure does run hot and the fans are loud. I seemed to notice that the left fan made a more whiny sound than the right.

Keyboard is what you'd expect and the trackpad buttons are mushy but the pad is pretty smooth.

I have the 4k screen and, as you would expect, I've only clocked it to 63hz..so far ;)

Black ops 3 at 4k with all settings on high (not ultra) and smaa1 gives the full steady 63 frames.

Using the overclock fan setting the cpu seems to cool better while the gpu was at about 83c during gameplay. At one point I hit func+1 and the fans didn't get louder. I guess that fan curve actually goes to the full 80% or whatever.

I will set up firestrike and give a basic score at stock settings within a couple of days.
Eurocom uses IC diamond I think
    16gb 2400mhz
    1080 obviously

    Another note!

The headphone out is phenomenal as Georgel has said. Like Wow.
I'm pretty much an audiophile and I'm impressed. It's not quite as complete as my expensive setup but to be essentially "free" as part of a laptop purchase it's unbelievable.

For the majority of people who use their phone as music players and have never heard a burbrown DAC before....it can be life changing if you love music. ..you know what they say, once you go BBDAC you won't go back!

The only thing annoying I've found so far about the integrated DAC is that it skips for about a half-second (just quickly loops whatever audio it's currently playing) when coming out of the display-off mode, like if you're listening to music and don't touch it for a while and it turns the display off.

Does anyone have temperatures and fan noise of the P775DM2-G with the 1070?

If it's considerably, or even moderately quieter and cooler than the 1080 I'll probably get that. I've been a bit concerned with all the talk of overheating and fan noise with the 1080 but finding it hard to get numbers on the 1070 for a clear comparison.
